Greetings,

There’s been a sudden resurgence of arts and galleries in Phnom Penh in particular in recent weeks, so please allow us to re-introduce our revived sister publication, kumnooh.com, that aims to provide a lengpleng.com service for the wider arts – painting, sculpture, literature, dance, architecture and classical music – across Cambodia.  Check it out every Tuesday – to subscribe send a subscribe email to fabianhipp@kumnooh.com.

The big deals in Phnom Penh on Friday night are in the Tuol Tom Pong area.  Sunset Boulevard presents an original artists showcase with Arone Silverman, Rob Narciso and Lewis McTie, while Catherine Isaccs & Co are at Bosporus (note both events have a $5 cover charge).  Also on Friday night find 12me at Odom Gardens, and  K’n’E at Oscar’s on the Corner.  In Siem Reap Geography of the Moon are at Laundry Bar and Son Sabor Trio are at The Harbour.

Come Saturday in Phnom Penh there’s a jazz night with Metta, Daisuke & Troy at Aquarius, Summer Lee Carlson & Phil Javelle at Lantern, and The Boxchords’ first gig of the year at Central Cafe.  Later on, Aguita E’Coco are at Duplex and The Extraordinary Chambers take it late at Oscar’s on the Corner.  Meanwhile, Saturday in Siem Reap sees Lucky & Mark at Arin’s and Jam-Cha at Laundry Bar.  In Kampot, Billy Page is at Voodoo Boulevard.

Released this week on Bandcamp is a scorching new EP by Sam Sandak, aka Ozymandias collaboration with Professor Kinski: four micro-songs entitled Twisted BallFind it here.

Also dropping tomorrow is a new single from singer-songwriter Gone Marshall: Seven Steps West comes to all platforms.  Find out more at www.gonemarshall.com.
