This weekend in Siem Reap, live music is part of the Wat Bo Village Festival, with Sokunthea & Friends, and Adam Marsland on Saturday and Andy Luna, The Little Squirrel, Lounge Quintet, The Troubadours on Sunday.  There’s also a festival afterparty on Saturday night at Laundry featuring Wat Bo Boogie. 

In Phnom Penh on Friday there’s Frankie Teardrop Dead at Craft, Brooke Palmer at Botanico, Summer Lee Carlson & Mute Speaker at The Tin Hat and Arome Khmer 4 at Vinoteca.  Also Stu Cottom is at The Vine  (after the footy), Melody & Joe are at Back Street Bar and Mary & Takeshi are at Little Susie.  Later in the evening The Blue Souls are at Hometown Hangout and Montra is at Oscar’s on the Corner.  In Siem Reap, 5000 Watts return to Arin’s.

In Phnom Penh on Saturday you can catch Marianna & Metta at Paradise Home (St 240), Swing Time at The Deck, Summer Lee Carlson & Mute Speaker along with Matsumara Fishworks at Noisy Chili, Ice at Botanico, and 4MARA & Isame Siva at Can CanAngkor Classique are at Au Marche and Scott Bywater is followed by John Memery at Little SusieJapan Guitar Shop play first in between bouts at Cambodia Interclub 9 at Factory and then continue at Duplex The Lark go late at Oscar’s on the Corner.

Come Sunday, Miss Sarawan & Scoddy are at Villa Grange and Gaby & Chema at The Vine, there’s a piano recital featuring the works of Franz Liszt at Raffles Le Royal, Antonio & the Playful Minds are at Back Street Bar and The Lost Girls are at Lost Bar & Grill.  Later Bart – Psar are at Oscar’s on the Corner.

In the department of Coming Soon, there’s a new album coming from Geography of the Moon next month, and the Nesat Market Festival at New Year’s Eve – check out the special promo gig at Oscar’s on the Corner on Saturday 28 featuring a quiz plus Johnny & the Scallywags and Smack the Unicorn.
