Greetings:

A quiet election weekend coming up, so Thursday may be a bigger night than usual.  Stu Cottom is at Villa Grange, Autumn Band are at Autumn, and Phil Javelle is at Samai Rum Distillery, while Alex is at Little Susie and the regular open mic hosted by Initial G is at Cloud.  Going late, Ramy Falcon & Ng Elnarra are at Hideout and The Extraordinary Chambers are at Oscar’s on the Corner.  In Kampot, there is the regular jam session at Tiki Garden, while in Siem Reap VORT – X are at the newly reopened Hard Rock Cafe Angkor and The Exile are at Pasta La Vista.

On a sparse Friday find Boxchords at Craft, Antonio El Chico at Botanico, Ramy & Nestor at Duplex and Efren at Beer O’Clock, and later Montra at Oscar’s on the Corner.  The Jampot open mic at Karma Traders is hosted by Kellie Olsen, and in Siem Reap find Salazar Quartet at Villa D and the open mic at The Welsh Consulate.

Brand new this weekend is the Siem Reap Ukulele Circle at Pomme, offering lessons at 3.30 pm (children) and 4.45 pm (adults).  Also in Phnom Penh find Mike jams at Little Susie and Montra at Oscar’s on the Corner.   Saturday events in Phnom Penh have been cancelled.

Coming up next weekend in Siem Reap, Life of Brin: a celebration of life, love and rock’n’roll with a cast of thousands gathering at Star Bar.  Should be a hell of a night.  More details to be released soon.
