Kicking off the Phnom Penh weekend early, on Thursday night, is a night of Khmer rapping, featuring Roumdoul (Khmer/FR), B-Side, Daniel and Monyroum at CloudLoopy Reggae are at The Silk Route and The Extraordinary Chambers are at Oscar’s on the Corner.  In Kampot, Saigon Shock are at Madi Bar and Jonny Macaroni is at The Bay.

On Friday in Phnom Penh there’s a traditional Cambodian music concert  with Tep Nimmith Band at Institut francais du Cambodge;  elsewhere you can find find Jam-Cha at Craft, Brooke Palmer at Botanico, Jave at Little Susie and The Extraordinary Chambers at Bat Muk Yu.   Loopy Reggae are at The Box Office and Joshua Chiang is at Cloud.  In Tuol Tom Pong, Ex-Pulse are at The Tin Hat, Skeptical Chemistry are at Noisy Chili and The Blue Souls are at Hometown HangoutLater and louder, JamCha are followed by fellow Siem Reap band The Wildmen making their debut at Oscar’s on the Corner, and Khmer/French rapper Roumdoul is at Uniga.  Saigon Shock at Banyan Tree [has been moved to Saturday at Madi Bar] and in Siem Reap there’s Japanese reggae from Bangarang at Laundry.

 Saturday evening in Phnom Penh, The Originals Acoustic Showcase at The Deck features Lewis/Michelle/Chris, Seyha and Poca de Feo, Muxu Acoustic are at Craft and the Latin jazz of Limontuno are at AquariusMiss Sarawan is at Botanico, John Peter is at Little Susie, Antonio Elchico is at Tropico and The Lark are at Oscar’s on the Corner.  In Kampot the Kampot Craft Beer Festival at Monkey Republic features Jam-Cha, The Wildmen and Matsamura Fishworks, while elsewhere in Kampot Mr Zee & KHA$H are at The Bay and Saigon Shock are at Madi Bar, Wooden Bridge, are at Coco Beach in Kep, and Andy Luna celebrates International Margarita Day at Spin Bar in Siem Reap.

On Sunday, Stu Cottom is at Paparazzi, Miss Sarawan & Scoddy are at Villa Grange, Adam Marsland is at The Box Office, Sunday Sundowners open mic at Tacos Kokopelli is hosted by Scott Bywater, Clay George is at The Vine and Joe Wrigley is at Bar Oz.   Can Can hosts the Bassac Street Festival, featuring Izame Siva & 4Mara and DJs, and Electric Muxu Orchestra are at Oscar’s on the Corner.  In Kep, Poca de Feo is at The Wave: Kep West and in Siem Reap Mango Dream are at Kantha Bopha Auditorium.
