Out at M’Pai Bai Bay on Koh Rong Sanloem, starting today and continuing through to Sunday, four days of live music and other activities under the name Dave Fest .  Performers include Vince Solomons, We Are Ewe, Men of Faith, Wind Up Mice, Melody & Joe, The Broken Cymbal, Ruadhan, Liam Jones, LDLP, Soselo Summer and Faceslap.

If you’re in Phnom Penh tonight, Thursday, check out Clay George at Lost Bar & Grill, Challi Mora at Hometown Hangout and The Tuesday Welders at Oscar’s on the Corner.  In Kampot, Wooden Bridge are at Madi Bar.

Friday night in Phnom Penh find The Visa Runners and The Stuffs at Bassac Street, Ice at Botanico, Miss Sarawan at Bat Muk Yu and Treebu at Back Street Bar, while The Extraordinary Chambers are joined by Gaby Courroux at Oscar’s on the Corner.  In Kep, Sinville Roadshow are at Kep Natural, while in Siem Reap The Soul Collective with Mirasol are at Arin’s and Bless & Joe are at Bamboo Bar.

On Saturday in Phnom Penh The Van Vart Show is at Botanico, Bustaka Band ar at Bat Muk Yu, Stu Cottom is at Paparazzi, Gerry the Cosmic Joker is at Lost Bar & Grill and The Lark are at Oscar’s on the Corner.  In Kampot, Summer Lee Carlson & Mute Speaker are at Madi Bar and Ant Colloff is at The Bay, while Khmer Magic Music Bus are at Kep West.

Next week sees the arrival of Australian rock’n’soul outfit Plan B for their Paint it Black 2024 tour, with shows lined up at LOLA Music Lounge, Hometown Hangout, Duplex, The Waterside, Kep Natural and Queenco Hotel & Casino in Sihanoukville.

In a couple of weeks, Saturday 30 November, 60 Road Studios in Siem Reap present the second annual 60 Road Fest, which will feature a full day of performances – highlights include Blue Strangers, Frankie Teardrop Dead, The Wild Men and Japan Guitar Shop.  Last chance for early bird tickets tomorrow!

At the end of December, Friday 27 and Saturday 28, the second Pepperfest will be held in Kampot.  The line-up features After God, Alli G, Bamboo Train, Bob Passion, Cartoon, Kan, Roberto Salgado and Ricky B.  And then there’s the Nesat Market Festival New Year’s Eve party at Nesat Vilage on 31 December featuring Soselo Summer, Geography of the Moon, Frankie Teardrop Dead and more.
