This weekend in Phnom Penh a Friday/Saturday double header with the opening of Stories, a new venue from the folk behind Little Susie, featuring over 20 musicians, also to celebrate World Music Day and to give Bona a send-off.  Day one on Friday features JP Kotze & Aisha, John Memery, Stu Cottom, Who U and Phil, Adam & Bona; day two on Saturday offers Kevin Sysyn, George, Pierre & Manu, D&Y, and Rock Xpress.

Thursday in Phnom Penh find Adam Marsland at The Deck, Brett Perkins (US/DK) at The Vine, Chor Yee at Samai Rum Distillery and later on The Extraordinary Chambers with Gaby Courroux at Oscar’s on the Corner.  In Siem Reap, Kodi Hudson is at Barcode.

On Friday night in Phnom Penh Bustaka Band are at Chew & Bash, The Tuesday Welders duo are at The Tin Hat, Take Two + Blue Serenade combine at Botanico, Miss Sarawan is at Noisy Chili, and Antonio & Monique are at The Box OfficePoca Y Carlos are at Bat Muk Yu, Zakk Zoot is at The Vine and Rockustic are at TropicoJP & Mara are at Hometown Hangout and you can get the blues with Chi-Town at Oscar’s on the Corner. In Kampot, Wooden Bridge are at Madi Bar and Chris Garcia is at Old Market Skybar, while in Siem Reap Rod Tolentino is at The Panthers Hut.

On Saturday in Phnom Penh Summer Lee Carlson & Mute Speaker are at The Deck, Cambodia Soundbase are at Botanico, the French Institute celebrates Fete de la Musique with Luiza, Tey, 8GK and LnHD, The Tuesday Welders are at Bat Muk Yu and Stu Cottom is at Linya BarClay George is at Tropico, Zakk Zoot is at Hometown Hangout, Chanvinith & Daro are at Uniga and Montra is at Oscar’s on the Corner.  On the coast, Poca is at The Wave: Kep West and Junrockz is at Old Market Skybar, while in Siem Reap Jam-Cha are at Laundry and Charni & Carlos are at Ubuntu.

Come Sunday, Mike St John is at Villa Grange, Poca is at The Vine, Scott Bywater hosts the Sunday Sundowners open mic at Tacos Kokopelli, and Stu Cottom at Bar Oz.  In Siem Reap, Pomme and 60 Road Studios host a music quiz, and Kodi Hudson is at Embargo.
