Forged over ten years of weekly performances at Oscar’s on the Corner, with many years of cumulative musical knowledge and activity, not to mention an average age pushing 60, The Extraordinary Chambers are masters of the loose/tight bar band punch – Scoddy, Dave, Greg, Sal, Vibol and Gaby roar through originals, cast-iron rock’n’roll and groovy dancing tunes. Bonus trivia: the band is named after Scoddy’s former employer (2008-2011), The Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia, aka the Khmer Rouge Tribunal.
Upcoming shows: every Thursday night at Oscar’s on the Corner after 10 pm; they fill in at Oscar’s through the week and/or weekend from time to time. And they are the house band for the annual no-countdown New Year’s Eve show – for eight years straight and no end in sight.
